Information we collect

When you request an account, we collect your name and email address. A mobile number is optional. We record when a request is submitted and whether it is awaiting approval or approved. An administrator reviews registration requests before sign-in access is enabled; declined requests are removed from the pending queue.

We do not ask you to create or provide a password. After approval, we send a one-time verification code to the registered email address when you request sign-in. We store a protected code hash, its expiry and whether it has been used; the code expires after 10 minutes. We also keep a protected identifier for the active sign-in session so an account can be signed in on one device at a time.

Our security controls may process your IP address to limit repeated registration or code requests. Registration requests store a one-way IP hash for this purpose. The server may also create technical access and error logs.

How we use information

We use account information to review access requests, operate the learning site, send requested verification codes, maintain account security and respond to support or privacy requests. We record the date and time of successful sign-ins and explicit sign-outs in an admin-only login history for account security and service administration. Administrators can see the name, email and optional mobile number provided in a registration request and can approve or decline it.

Cookies and service providers

An essential session cookie keeps forms secure and maintains a sign-in session. The site and its email service are hosted on our server. We do not use your account details to create a password or to send a password by email. If you follow a link to another website, that site’s privacy practices apply there.

Children and family support

Some learning material is intended for school-age learners. A parent or guardian should help a younger learner submit a registration request and should avoid including information that the form does not ask for. We do not request a date of birth or sensitive demographic information in this registration form.

Access, correction and deletion

Signed-in users can correct their name and optional mobile number from the Profile details section of the Account page. Signed-in learners can delete their account from the Account page. Deletion removes the account, profile details, stored sign-in code records and login history from the live application database, and ends the active session. A pending registration can be removed by contacting us. Technical server logs and backups may persist according to their normal retention periods. The protected administrator account cannot be deleted through learner self-service controls.
